Traditional ink wash on paper mounted to silk. Scroll 1 (Left): Portrait of Daruma (Bodhidharma). Signed Eitaku. Scroll 2 (Center): Minimalist depiction of Daruma's face in profile. Signed Shuto. Scroll 3 (Right): Bold cursive calligraphy (sosho). All stored in bamboo cases (tomobako).
Dimensions: Variable sizes, approximately up to 6 ft high by up to 24 in wide. Total weight is approximately 3 lbs.
Discoloration throughout. Some foxing. Scratches and scuffs. Holes from insects. Some lift between material layers.

Precious metal purchases over $5,000 must be paid with a wire transfer and must be shipped to the same address as the billing address. We accept credit card, PayPal, Zelle, cash and wire transfers for payment. There is a 3.5% convenience fee on all credit card and PayPal payments. Winning bidders are responsible for all costs to ship their items, unless otherwise stated. We offer in-house shipping and will ship using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. NOTE: Hughes is a small company that offers in-house shipping as a convenience to our buyers. In-house shipping can take up to three weeks.
