Scroll 2 (Center): Minimalist depiction of Daruma's face in profile, rendered with remarkable economy of line. Signed "Shūto" (秀濤) with red seal. Mounted on dark brown textured silk.

Scroll 3 (Right): Bold cursive calligraphy (sōsho) in dynamic, flowing brushwork. Signed with two red seals. Mounted on dark gray silk with decorative golden border pattern.

All three scrolls are stored in bamboo cases (tomobako) with calligraphic inscriptions. These works exemplify the Zen aesthetic of simplicity and directness, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The Daruma subjects are traditional Zen motifs representing meditation and enlightenment.
