Traditional ink wash on paper mounted to silk.

Scroll 1: Japanese landscape with mountain, autumn foliage, and houses, signed "Hōshi" (星之)

Scroll 2: Chinese painting of amaranth (love-lies-bleeding) with sparrow, signed "Banshū Gakai" (蕃秀我介)

Scroll 3: Japanese Buddhist pilgrimage scroll (納経軸/nōkyō-jiku) with temple stamps (goshuin) and calligraphy, featuring painted monk figure at bottom

All with wooden storage boxes (tomobako).

Variable sizes, one is approximately up to 5 ft high, two are approximately 7ft high by up to 30 in wide. Total weight is approximately 5 lbs.

Winning bidders are responsible for all costs to ship their items, unless otherwise stated. We offer in-house shipping and will ship using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. NOTE: Hughes is a small company that offers in-house shipping as a convenience to our buyers. In-house shipping can take up to three weeks.
