Traditional ink wash on paper mounted to silk. Scroll 1: Japanese landscape with mountain, autumn foliage, and houses, signed Hoshi. Scroll 2: Chinese painting of amaranth (love-lies-bleeding) with sparrow, signed Banshu Gakai. Scroll 3: Japanese Buddhist pilgrimage scroll with temple stamps (goshuin) and calligraphy, featuring painted monk figure at bottom. All with wooden storage boxes (tomobako). Dimensions: Variable sizes, one is approximately up to 5 ft high, two are approximately 7ft high by up to 30 in wide. Total weight is approximately 5 lbs.
