From the Estate of Leroy John Alexanderson (1910-2004), the final captain and commodore of the SS United States. Lot includes two ceramic plates with ship related comic panels in black and white. Small square plate is made by Nancy Resetar of Port Chester, New York.
Dimensions: Plates are approximately 6 in H x 6 in W and 7.25 in H x 10.25 in W. Total weight is approximately 3 lbs.
Condition
Larger plate has one quarter-inch chip on the edge of the top left corner.
