Painting is in good condition. Scratches and cracks throughout the painting. One crack has a small chip of paint missing, approximately 1/16 inch. Dings and scratches on the frame.
Painting is approximately 24 inches x 36 inches x 1 inch. Frame is approximately 25 inches x 37 inches x 1.25 inches.
Painting weights approximately 3.50 pounds.

Born in the Bronx, Lubner moved to Los Angeles as a child and received his M.A. from UCLA in 1953. His work was shown in galleries internationally and has been included in the permanent collections of many museums including MOCA, LACMA and the Tate. Lubner dedicated his life to painting and teaching. He was on faculty at UCLA and The Royal College of Art and ran a private teaching studio for sixty-two years. Beloved by his students, Lubner's unique curriculum involved art historical lectures, technique and criticism.
