Mounted to masonite with wood liner. Signed on lower right in graphite. Lot includes pamphlet from Silvia’s show at Comara Gallery, Los Angeles, CA. Lot also includes booklet, Jerald Silva and His Word, made in 1975 by the E. B. Crocker Art Gallery, Sacramento, CA, which features this painting. 

Watercolorist Jerald Silva was born in Sacramento, California in 1936. He attended Sacramento Junior College, Chouinard Art Institute, and Sacramento State College.

Silva's paintings have been exhibited at the California State Fair, the Kingsley Show, the Northern California Arts Show, the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco and the Upper Grosvenor Gallery in London.

Painting is in good vintage condition. Slight discoloration and damage in the bottom edge. Paper is slightly smaller than the Masonite, leaving raw edges of board exposed. Nails go directly through the watercolor paper to attach it to the wood liner.

Painting is approximately 48 in x 61.25 in x 1.5 in.

Painting weighs approximately 23.65 pounds.
