Unsigned, Hopi Salako Mana Kachina, Mid 20th Century. Polychromed cottonwood depicting the female form of rain god, with elaborate stepped headdress and feather plumes, painted face and implied turquoise necklace, eagle feather robe with implied blue boots to cylindrically carved body. Possibly signed to underside but details cannot be determined with significant label remnants. Approx. 18 in. H x 8 in. W x 2.5 in. D. Weight: 11 oz. Overall good condition commensurate with age and use.
